Why does a bailout of individual mortgage holders seem like such a far fetched thought! Would it cost too much compared to the bailouts of the corporate giants? It seems like individuals are often considered last. Yes bailout the corporations but bailout the taxpaying citizens as well!

home mortgage where can I get one?

I know 20% for conventional etc….but I thought if you were getting a home with 50% loan to value that the equity could stand for the down payment.

If one of the party decides they don’t want to be there anymore and is plotting to file bankrupcy where does that leave the remaining person

I’d like to buy a house for sale at 5,000. Appraisal is 0,000. Is it possible to get a loan for more than the buy amount (say 0k) to consolidate some debts at the same time?

My loan is for 30 years 75K. I was told that you can pay it off alot quicker with a line of credit. Has anyone on here done it and how?
I didn’t reckon it was possible or financially beneficial. I’ll stick to my 300 extra towards principle every month.

My current mortgage is through Wells Fargo. We have a local office in the town I live in but would I get lower interest rates by going to a bank and letting them sell my mortgage if they want or if I went directly to them?

I’m looking for the best rates and they seem to be very competitive. I’ve had checking account with them for 6 months or so and have been pleased with their service so far. Has anyone taken out a home loan with them yet? Was it a excellent or terrible experience?
