How do I buy a home from a owner that owns the mortgage company.?

Written By: aaren on December 19, 2009 One Comment

I was looking forward to buying this house that I had seen that seemed to be vacant and abandoned and had a small sticker on the door that said the owner had due payment to the mortgage company. Am I able to buy the house from the owner without having to pay whatever he had left on the mortgage or if I say I wanna buy the house will I have to pay off the mortgage lender whatever the last owner didnt pay? I need some help.

If you are not working through a competent realtor, you’d better use a lawyer. Do not get involved in a direct owner sale without legal advice.
