   Most home equity loans require a credit score of at least 700. I reckon you will find it hard to get a home loan with a score under 650. You could check with lenders in your area and see what they suggest.

   Only borrow from a reputable money lender. Banks and credit unions are excellent. Just don’t go to any "Joe’s Bank" or anything like that. And you can expect high interest as you would be considered quite a risk.
