We were not into mobile home style living but our house helped in this area by not feeling like a trailer. It had double glazed windows and very solid construction. Hurricane Opal came through Florida and tried her best on us, but caused only superficial damage while blowing may others away. That was over eight years ago. This summer we drove back through that neighbor hood and were saddened to see almost all of the mobile homes had been removed and all the others fell apart and then there was our old Palm Harbor, though abandoned, looking just as good as when we were there.
