So i was just looking for everyone’s personal experience on student loans. and how much you had/have in student loans I’m honestly just wondering because currently my estimated amount is roughly 19-25k
($9,500 from a previous school not related to my major)
my max loan amount would be about 25k and that is with my masters the reason i have to pull out loans is so i can take summer school and afford to buy books for summer school.
i have a few friends that have no loans at all and have their BA, but that is because they never took summer school resulting in like 5-6 years for a 4year degree.

Best advice on asking my uncle for money?

Ok to make a long story short we are living in a horrible apartment building. In the last 3-4 months it has turn into drug central. We have lived here almost 2 years. My landlord has made fake promises on kicking these losers out but keeps having reason not to.
My parents promise they would loan us money to buy. We found a place, put in an offer (like my parents said to) and at the last min my parents back out.
I was told by 1 of my aunts a while ago to go ask my uncle from money. He’s not married no children. He works non stop.
I’m scared to death to go ask. I called him on Thursday & asked him if we could come over I have a favor to ask. He said he was going away this weekend & to call him on Monday. (today) What’s the best way to ask? We need about $2000. We have other money to put down but we want to put more money down to get a better interest rate & not be house poor right away. I’m also scared to ask since we want to buy a trailer. (its brand new but already set up in a mostly older people park very close to my fiancés work & the hospital I want to get a job at ) Our plan is to live there till is paid off. (under 5 years it will be paid off) Then move it & build. We want to do alot of traveling & things before we get ourselves in to a $700+ mortgage & kids. The owner of the park/seller has already gone out on a limb for us. He told the bank we already put alot down. So it will look better for us.
Any advice tips? If he does loan us the money. We would have the money paid back with interest if he wants, in under 6 months.
