I have a personal Check for 2k made out by a friend as a loan. The account is at Chase. I want to go to chase and cash this check I know I need ID but will Chase realize i owe them money when trying to cash the check? Will they and are they legally able to keep what I owe them off the balance of the check? Does anyone know of another bank open in New York on sundays that would cash the check for me? Also, if I can no longer access my acct information online, by phone or through a branch atm does that mean my acct was closed and passed over to the Chex system? Thanks
