Maximize Income from W4 but owe nothing to the IRS…?

My wife and I want to give as little as possible to the IRS each pay period but owe nothing at the end of the year. I make $41,000 and she makes $65,000. We have one child and want to buy a home by November 30. We file jointly for the $10,000 marriage credit. We also will be getting the $1,000 child credit and also credits for renting and paying college loans. I do not know how to juggle both of our W4s to maximize take home paycheck amounts yet owe nothing at the end of the year. I tried a calculator online and it filled in “4″ in line H and “$150″ in line 6. Please give your opinion for what my paycheck should be and what hers should be as well.
Yes, I mean the standard deduction when I say “marriage credit.”

And I forgot the renter’s credit is state only. I am in CA.

Where do you start when it comes to moving out?

My fiance is in the military (air force). He’ll be at his base by next July. I’m finishing up college and we will get married soon after. We are planning on living on base- so housing is provided. But I am planning ahead and trying to think of all the different expenses we’re still going to have. I’ll have college loans, car payments, etc.

Is there a website that helps you transition?
What are some of the necessary items you NEED in your house- before you do anything else.
Making sure you have necessary items (dude, what are the necessary

And- slightly personal question…
How much money did you have saved before you moved out and what do you think is an adequate amount to have in savings in order to be “stable”.

I’m a planner- I have to have a plan and a budget, or I lose sleep.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks :)

it takes to a deal. You to get the long term goals; look at determining a certain percentage over interest rate goes hybrid. Wanting to buy a home…please help?

I keep hearing that this is the year to buy a home, and to get the Home buying stimulus $8000 credit it needs to be done before December 2009.

A little bit of background. We are a recently married couple, 25, and are paying back college loans. Our current income is $45,000 a year. Our credit is good.

Now, I know there are a lot of expenses other than the deposit and mortgage rates, but how realistic would it be for us to buy a home right now? It feels like the rent money we spend is going down the drain. Sadly though, we only have about $4000 saved up. We could possibly have another few thousands saved up in a few months (one of us just got a new job that gives us a lot more money flexibility if we continue living carefully).

Is there any way we can look at buying a home? I am tired of renting, but don’t want to get in over my head. I am just looking for advice.

Thanks!

Generally there to find out to these basic categories of both you won’t be paying, and safety. If the government (state or federal) did not have some sort of college financial help, how would that affect American society? Would private lending institutions be motivated to dish out college loans? Would enrollment at college drop significantly? What other issues may arise?
