Chances of a Personal Loan nowadays? And which Bank?

I am a german citizen and live in the US 2,5 years now. I transfered within my company.

I am working for the company in total for the last 8 years. My income is right now 60K but starting next month it will be in the lower 70’s and I will not apply prior to that.

My credit history is now 2,5 years old. I had a lease car during that time, never any late payments and my credit score is between 660 and 680 with all 3 credit institutes, rising monthly. I expect it to be very close to the 700 by the end of this year.

I am with WaMu and have 3 accounts with them for the last 2,5 years incl a credit card which I pay off every month.
I need a personal loan of $24.000 which I would like to pay of in 60 Months, most likely I would throw in $5.000 one year and maybe another $5.000 another + my monthly payments and be done with it no later than 3 years but play save.

If I go to various bank homepages, they show me that with an APR of around 8% I am coming close to a $500 monthly payment which is totally fine. Considering the above, do you guys think I could get approved for this and an around 8% APR? And what bank would you recommend? Just go with WaMu because that’s where I have my accounts?

I will talk to my bank next week but don’t want them to run credit checks etc. as of yet, because I am afraid it might drop my score a little bit. Just asking for input.
