How helpful is your husband to you with the kids and housework?

I get a little annoyed with my hubby sometimes. I understand that he is the breadwinner right now and works all day to bring home money to put food on the table. But I wish he would help me out a little bit more at home. I do everything around the house (except for cutting the lawn (I will give my husband credit for that). But I take out the trash, cook, clean, do the laundry, even handle the finances and bills. And I am the one who mostly cares for the kids and gets up with the baby most at all hours most nights. I don’t mind during the week as I know that my husband needs his sleep in order to get up for work. But he still doesn’t do much to help on weekends. He lays on the couch and watches TV, get on the computer, reads, plays playstation, etc. He might help with feeding the baby sometimes, but not a whole lot else. Now don’t get me wrong, usually if I ask him to do something he does it. He just never volunteers to do anything.
Anyway, I’ve talked to him about it and he says he’ll help more but it never really happens. Its annoying to have to ask him to do things all the time. Is anyone else in a similar predicament?
Oh and of course he gets to nap all of the time on the weekends!
