Will i be able to get into Med school, get granted good scholarships, and become a surgeon?

I want to become a surgeon when i’m older, im a sophomore in high school, and last year i was incredibly lazy and got like maybe an 87 GPA, putting forth almost no effort at all. i want to get into med school without having to pay full tuition, im going to be an eagle scout (heard that helps even though i don’t really care about it) im in an Honors English class this year, and hoping for a 92+ GPA. For sports im doing cross country skiing in the winter, and then tennis in the spring, then starting mens volleyball in the fall for the first time. i haven’t actually done any of these sports before, but im very active now, recently lost 30 pounds by running 5 miles everyday all summer I’ve spoken to coaches and they think i can make JV and probably varsity next year. will this be enough to get into a good med school and get good scholarships? I’d ask a counselor but they’re just about useless most of the time.

Help. I need help finding ways to pay for college.?

I finished my freshmen year at an in-state public University. I’m want to transfer in the spring to a nearly $40,000 private university to play Division 1 tennis. The coach is offering me a little bit of a scholarship and says he will be able to give me more in the following years, but its currently not nearly enough to help pay.
To add on top of this, my father got laid off at the beginning of last year and had to dip into his 401k which put him into a higher tax bracket, so we got even less financial aid then last year. I’ve done a stafford loan to help pay, which has been sufficient for my current university, but now I really need help.
I’ve tried for some scholarships that I qualify for, but many are just pot luck, or essay based.
What other options do I have? How do I update a stafford loan so I’ll get more money in the spring?
Are there other kinds of aid or grants that I could try for?
