Is there a student loan or a scholarship or anything that could help me get my transcripts?
I was enrolled in the fall 2006 semester at the School of Visual Arts but for personal and economic reasons i had to drop out of the school. I owe $8,900 for that semester only and i’m desperate for the transcripts so i could go to anoher school. I talked to SVA financial aid office for a monthly payment plan but they only wanted me to pay from $1,000 up or i had to pay the entire balance at once. Back in 2007 i decided to start working to pay that debt so i could go to a less expensive college but i’ve only gotten $8/hour jobs and I’m currently unemployed. It’s getting really worse since my mother got sick and i’m gonna have to take care of my family now. Is there a student loan or scholarship or anything that could help me get my transcripts so i could go to another college? Please help me I really wanna get my life back on track but i don’t know where to start since finding a job is getting harder these days.

If i have student GRANTS (not loans) and I fail a class, do I have to pay them back?? Is there some kind of rule to this? I can't imagine getting paid for like 2 years and just keep failing and getting to keep the money!! Thanks for the help?!
