whats the best online poker site for UK?

I know its been questioned before on here but new sites have sprung up.
ive tried ladbrokes (excellent till it went micro)
interpoker….ok
betfair..urrm
poker room…
pacific…crap
betfred…unimpressed
currently with skypoker…v.excellent but their credit card policies are rubbish
I want a site with simple payments and withdrawals….like paypal payments
no micro sites with hundreds of games
excellent simple to claim and know bonuses
mainly uk players
and nice table layouts ie not small ones
I would appreciate answers from knowlegdable players please.

I live in the U.S. and I used to play all my online poker at Party Poker. A couple of years ago they were no longer allowed to have U.S. players so mainly it is just U.K. players now, it was a fantastic poker room. It had very simple payments and withdrawals. It has a 100% initial deposit bonus up to $500 I believe. I have not played at CD Poker myself as it doesn’t allow American players but it is very highly rated so you might want to check them out if you haven’t already. They have a 150% initial deposit bonus plus an extra $20. I play nearly exclusively at Full Tilt and it is fantastic but there are a lot of tough players at every level because there are so many players. I play some at PokerStars too which is excellent as well but tough. Both Full Tilt and PokerStars accept people from all over the world. Party Poker used to be the largest site in the world but after they had to stop taking U.S. players I believe everybody in the U.S. went to either Full Tilt or PokerStars so those two sites got a lot of excellent players over night.

Well, some poker site are terrible, you just have to pick the one you like…different people like different poker room, some people prefer deposit option, some Graphics, some on bonus.

Its nice and simple to deposit/withdraw and there are plenty of options available to you.
I’m not sure whether it is better than other major poker rooms but its definately a very excellent one!

Seems like you have tried most of the major UK sites. The only one i can reckon of would be William Hill which is on the iPoker network which i dont reckon you have tried yet. But you wont find exclusively UK players there as the network caters mostly to europeans but you can find tables in GBP, Euros, USD.
If you dont like that then you would probably be better off at the american sites Full Tilt, PokerStars, Cake Poker, Ultimate Bet
